RRR Therapy Program:
This therapy is provided at Jays Hearing Aid Center as adjunct to hearing aid benefits.
The impetus to this program is provided by the fact that the brain has an inherent and autonomous ability to reconstruct its synaptic arrangement that may have changed due to lack of, or reduced auditory inputs due to hearing loss.
Jay’s unique method consists of repeated application of spoken words that specifically generate neurotransmitters capable of stimulating the hippocampal and dentate gyrus locations of the brain which are key to memory and learning processes. This process may help in the growth of more neurons, synaptic processes that may lead to better short term memory retention, speech identification and improve transactional modes between short and long term memory linkages.
Studies conducted at the John Hopkins School of Medicine have indicated that hearing loss and dementia symptoms may be co-linked.
The RRR Therapy program may help delay the onset of dementia by the repair of short term memory neural structures in the brain.
